- Started as a family business in 1928 and evolved into a Home engine tuning service in 1973
- Owner Dave Bunt then bought Motor parts Plymouth in 1977
- Established as Plymouth Trailer Centre in 1978
- Dave became World F2 stock car motor racing Champion in 1980 and 1983
- Became registered as Plymouth Towbar and Trailer Centre in 1991
- Is still the premiere mobile towbar fitting service in Plymouth to this day
